Sati Shankar, Ph.D.,  recipient of the Wagle Gold Medal and #BHU Gold #Medal, Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, (2007) (Great Britain & Ireland), originally trained in #Decision Sciences - mathematical economics, a researcher and widely traveled author and consultant, helps individuals and organizations to think ahead, with strategic foresight. His interests are quite multidisciplinary: Mathematical Sciences #Complex Systems & #Synergetics, #Cognitive, #Brain and #Knowledge Sciences, Sciences of the #Artificial, #RigVeda, #Ayurveda (Ayurveda Ratna), and Veidik #Knowledge System, has a working knowledge of #Sanskrit and English, Hindi being mother tongue. 

Formal Studies:

With a background in Physics, Chemistry & Biology received Bachelor’s Degree in 1981, First class first in Institution focusing on Psychology, (Psychophysics, Physiological Psychology, and Abnormal Psychology), Philosophy (Logic, Indian and Western Philosophy) and Economics; Master’s Degree in Economics from Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, Bharat, specializing in Mathematical Methods & Econometrics (1983), standing first class first in Order of Merit, won the Wagle Gold Medal and BHU Gold Medal. Received Ph.D. (1991), from the same university in interdisciplinary subset of Decision Sciences - Mathematical Control Systems, Information, and Psycho-physiological Behavioral Science to explore decision making process, structuring, and modus operandi of Business Organizations. Received further  training in  Research Methodologies from IIT, Kanpur, (1992).

Sati Shankar has been a Life member of the Indian #Mathematical Society, the Indian #Econometric Society, Indian Association of General #Relativity and Gravitation, IAGRG, IUCAA, Indian Science Congress Association, ISCA, Indian Philosophical Congress, Akhil Bharatiya Darshan Parishad, Wider Association for Vedic Studies (WAVES), Earlier has been a Fellow of the Royal Asiatic Society, (2007, Great Britain & Ireland), a member of the International #Neural Network Society, INNS, Institute of #Physics, IOP, and the Institution of Electrical and Electronic Engineers IEEE (US). He is the founder of the Global Synergetic Foundation (1992). Currently Chief at GSFN Bharat. 

Biography listed in Reference Asia: Asia’s Who’s Who of Men and Women of Achievements, just after the first research paper on the "Theory of Expectation" was presented at the Indian Science Congress, (Rifacimento International, 1989),
